Broncos RB C.J. Anderson, DE Derek Wolfe out at practice on Thursday

The Denver Broncos were without running back C.J. Anderson and defensive Derek Wolfe at practice on Thursday.

Anderson was limited at practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury, and came down with an illness on Thursday. Wolfe was not listed Wednesday on the injury report, but he is now dealing with a neck injury.

However, it appears that Broncos coach Vance Joseph expects both players on the field against the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

“C.J. just wasn’t feeling well, so he went home to get rest and recover,” Joseph said, via “[Wolfe], it’s a sore neck, so I’m not concerned about that at all. He should be OK.”

However, on Thursday the Broncos did get a lot of positive news on the injury report. Running back Jamaal Charles, wide receivers Demaryius Thomas and Bennie Fowler, guard Ronald Leary, center Matt Paradis and nose tackle Domata Peko did not practice on Wednesday, but returned to the field on Thursday.

They were all limited except for Charles and Peko who missed Wednesday for non-injury related reasons.
