WWE wrestler Sheamus shares Notre Dame fever from Germany

Notre Dame Fighting Irish fever has run rabid all around the country this year. On Saturday, it officially reached across the Atlantic.

WWE wrestler Sheamus tweeted that even though he is currently in Germany and the Notre Dame-Miami matchup will begin at 2 a.m. where he is, he will be cheering on his Irish all the same.

If staying up until after 5 in the morning to watch a football game wasn’t enough to prove his fandom, Sheamus is also doing a great job of campaigning Notre Dame running back Josh Adams for the Heisman Trophy. Not only does he know the Heisman Trophy campaign hashtag, Sheamus is also supporting the hat.

For obvious reasons, Notre Dame has always had a pretty strong following in Ireland, but it’s still probably going to hard finding a bigger die hard Irish fan across the Atlantic on Saturday night than Sheamus.
