Zack Baun to miss the season

Wisconsin lost starting inside linebacker Jack Cichy for the year midway through fall camp, and the team has taken another hit on defense. The Badgers revealed Sunday that sophomore Zack Baun, a key reserve at outside linebacker and solid special teams player, will miss the season with a left foot injury.

Wisconsin releases first depth chart

The Badgers released an updated injury report and the first depth chart of the season Sunday. Jesse Temple hits on the relevant information, including the appearance of several true freshmen.

J.J. Watt lends a hand

With catastrophic flooding in Houston, former Badgers defensive lineman J.J. Watt is lending a hand. The 3-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, who was drafted by the Texans in 2011, put together a fundraiser and donated $100,000.

What to watch this season for Wisconsin

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Jeff Potrykus gives you 10 things to watch as the Badgers look for a third Big Ten West title in 4 years.

Desmond Howard likes Wisconsin

He may have won a Heisman Trophy while playing for Michigan, but ESPN’s Desmond Howard really likes Wisconsin, apparently. In the College GameDay preview show on Saturday, Howard picked the Badgers to win the Big Ten and make it to the College Football Playoff.

Greg Gard does it the right way

Wisconsin coach Greg Gard has been in charge of the Badgers for fewer than 2 years, but he’s already made an impression on his peers, who ranked him among the cleanest coaches in college basketball, according to CBSSports.com.

Lee Evans on the Camp Randall 100

Former Wisconsin wide receiver Lee Evans owns nearly all of the school’s receiving records, and for his efforts, he was named to the Camp Randall 100, a list of people and events that shaped the first century of the stadium.
