Wisconsin RB Bradrick Shaw listed as questionable for FAU game

Wisconsin starting running back Bradrick Shaw is dealing with a right leg injury, and it could limit him against Florida Atlantic this weekend.

On Thursday, the Badgers listed Shaw as questionable for Saturday’s game.

Shaw practiced in full pads this week, offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph said Wednesday, but Thursday’s update suggests Wisconsin is still hesitant about playing him. Last weekend, the 6-foot-1, 211-pound sophomore shouldered the rushing load. The Doak Walker Award watch list member rushed for 84 yards on 18 carries and added a touchdown in the Badgers’ 59-10 win over Kent State.

If Wisconsin holds Shaw out, it’ll likely rely on freshman running back Jonathan Taylor, who ran it nine times for 87 yards an a score in the season opener.
