Wilton Speight fired back at Florida with one well-placed zero

Florida players talked some trash in the months leading up to the Gators’ season opener with Michigan, and now they’re paying for it.

Former Michigan DE Chris Wormley fired of a tweet roasting the Gators, but QB Wilton Speight took a more subtle approach.

Well, sort of.

Breaks off? #youthought

Simple, but effective.

“Breaks off” is a reference to Florida’s Mark Thompson, who said this summer that the Gators would “beat the brakes off” Michigan.

Speight went 11-for-25 in his senior debut for the Wolverines for 181 yards, and threw two pick-sixes.

For what it’s worth, Florida is actually 0-4 all-time against Michigan. All four meetings have come since 2003.
