The West Virginia Mountaineers secured a solid wide receiver prospect with the commitment of Dillon Spalding on Monday night.
Spalding, a 3-star receiver in the Class of 2018, attends South County High School in Lorton, Va. He announced his commitment via Twitter.

Spalding is 6-foot-1 and weighs in at 216 pounds. He runs a 4.7 40-yard dash, according to 247Sports. In addition to the Mountaineers, he also had offers from Michigan, Tennessee and Virginia Tech, among others.
With this latest addition, West Virginia now has four wide receivers in the Class of 2018. The Mountaineers had the 4th best recruiting class in the Big 12 next year before Spalding’s announcement according to 247Sports’ rankings.
