WATCH: Tim Tebow takes pitch to the head, stays in game and scores run

As a former quarterback who is used to taking hard hits, Tim Tebow probably isn’t bothered that much by a baseball hitting in in the helmet.

He definitely showed that on Saturday night, as the former Florida star and current St. Lucie Mets play took one to the noggin and stayed in the game, eventually scoring a run for his team.

Tebow Mania has continued during the season as he takes his shot at making the majors. The St. Lucie Mets set an attendance record for the season, and opposing teams have seen the Tebow Effect with the stands filling up at opposing ballparks anytime the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner is in town.
