Usually the band waits until halftime to make their presence felt, but a Tennessee and Georgia Tech player both got a taste of a piece of an instrument that wasn’t about to give up any yards.
Yellow Jackets quarterback TaQuon Marshall took the brunt of the hit, being forced right into the marimbas by Volunteers defender Nigel Warrior.

Both players were fine and returned to game action. The status update of the marimbas is still yet to be announced.
