ROME, Ga. — Justin Fields went head-to-head with three of the top defensive lineman in Georgia, and while Fields’ team came up short, the 5-star quarterback still showed why he’s the No. 1-recruit in the nation.
Harrison High School fell to the Adam Anderson-led Rome Wolves 33-21, but Fields threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for another in the loss. This follows a 6-touchdown performance in the season-opener a week ago.
Oh, and Fields — all 6-foot-3, 221-pounds of him — hurdled an unlucky defender on Friday night.
Great snap of Mr. Fields. He is the No. 1 player in the country tonight. Thanks to AllSportsImages for sharing the snap. pic.twitter.com/ankp7fkpY3

Tough loss for Fields and Co., but this isn’t going to stop the hype train surrounding the top player in the country anytime soon.
