Who says quarterbacks have to throw in order to find the end zone? Sure, USC quarterback Sam Darnold had thrown two in the first half against Colorado, which was just one shy of his rushing touchdown total on the year. That’s not to say the 6-foot-5, 220-pound Darnold can’t rumble.
Midway through the third quarter, Darnold faked a handoff to Ronald Jones, which drew nearly every Colorado defender over to the left side of the field. A pump fake right pushed the other half of the Buffaloes to the opposite sideline, leaving a gaping middle that Darnold waltzed through, untouched for 24 yards.

After the score, USC led 27-0, though the Buffs had a quick score on a 79-yard touchdown to draw it to 27-7.
