It’s well noted Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury’s celebrity doppelgänger is Ryan Gosling.
During the popular trivia show Jeopardy!, however, Kingsbury’s resemblance to Gosling was a question, which apparently made Kingsbury family really happy, because they are big Jeopardy! fans.
Kingsbury was asked if he ever tried to impersonate Gosling during his guest spot on ESPN’s Highly Questionable on Wednesday. The Red Raiders coach initially said no, but then he explained when he’s on the West Coast, around Las Vegas, he can sometimes pull it off for a little bit with the help of sun glasses.
Kingsbury answers the question around the 5:32 mark.

There is a lot to unpack here.
First of all, Kingsbury denies he ever pretends to be Gosling at first, but then says he does it sometimes around Las Vegas. Second, Kingsbury says he never takes it too far, which sparks a lot of curiosity of how far could Kingsbury go with it? Third, has Gosling ever been mistaken for Kingsbury?
The world may never know, but at least Texas Tech fans can sleep well at night knowing a great actor could easily play Kingsbury if, for whatever reason, a movie is ever made about the Texas Tech football program. And it seems like Kingsbury would welcome it.
