The best thing you will see this weekend happened on a footbal field on Friday night.
Jake Hyde, a senior at Vestavia Hills High School in Birmingham, Ala., scored a touchdown for his team on Friday night. Hyde, per his sister, has Down Syndrome, but that didn’t stop him from reaching the endzone on Friday night.
It’s a really cool moment, and the reaction by his teammates both on the field and the sideline make it all the more special. It’s also pretty awesome that the opposing team gets in on the celebration as well. And then everyone starts chanting “Jake!” at the end.
My brother, Jake, is 18 & a senior at Vestavia. He also happens to have Down Syndrome. Tonight 2 teams helped to make his dream come true! pic.twitter.com/uLoP3KH8KR

It’s a moment that Hyde, or really anyone involved, will not forget anytime soon.
