Christian Miller wants Alabama fans to know that the road to recovery starts now.
On Tuesday, the Crimson Tide linebacker used Twitter to send a video message to his fans. The message was optimistic, and it was great to hear.
“Just wanted to let you all to know that I had a successful surgery,” Miller said in the video. “The road to recovery starts now. Thanks so much for all the prayers and well-wishes. It means so much to me. Roll Tide.”

On Monday, Alabama coach Nick Saban announced that Miller would be lost for the year after sustaining a biceps injury during Alabama’s 24-7 victory over Florida State at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium . In addition, Crimson Tide linebacker Terrell Lewis was lost for the season with an elbow injury.
Miller closed with 3 tackles, including 1 for loss.
