Before the biggest game of the year for both Ohio State and Michigan on Saturday, Buckeyes QB J.T. Barrett was warming up on the sidelines as the game was about to start.
Then, a collision between Barrett and a photographer took place.
TMZ Sports obtained a video of the incident. However, the collision itself wasn’t recorded — only the before and after.
Take a look:
As the video shows, Barrett is warming up on the sidelines, the video then cuts out and then shows the senior captain limping away in pain.
The witness said, “the perpetrator had already run away from the collision site by the time he got his phone back up and running … but ID’d the photog as a white guy in gray and yellow gear who was carrying a ‘medium-sized camera.'”
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer addressed the situation when he said, “[It happened] right after kickoff or something. He was warming up and then I looked over and he was on the ground. That’s just someone on your freaking sideline who hurts your quarterback. I’ll find out who that was.”
Hopefully, the video helps. Although, considering that the collision itself isn’t in the video, we’ll have to wait and see what happens next in the ongoing Barrett-photographer saga.
