Injuries are far from new to this year’s USC team, which is a living, breathing injury report. So it shouldn’t have come as much of a surprise when defensive end Christian Rector walked onto the field for warmups with a clubbed hand.

He didn’t use his right hand much in the limited warm ups that have been shown, so how available he will be is yet to be seen.
Good news, though, is that kicker Chase McGrath, who has had a superb freshman season, booted a 40-yard field goal in warm ups despite a balky groin that held him out of practice all week.
At tight end, Daniel Imatorbhebhe is slated to start over Tyler Petite, who is still out with a shoulder injury.

And Toe Lobendahn, who has been out with a knee injury, is scheduled to start at left tackle.
