UCLA lands commitment from 2018 center Kenny Nwuba

UCLA basketball has had better days than today. Thankfully, a bit of good news managed to salvage it.

The Bruins have received a commitment from 3-star center Kenny Nwuba. The 6-foot-10, 240-pound center from Huntington Prep (Huntington, W. Va.) announced his commitment through his school on Tuesday.

Nwuba is the 16th-ranked center in the Class of 2018, according to 247Sports.

UCLA offered the center in late August. His commitment is the program’s third for the 2018 class.
