Twitter pounces on Pac-12 after basically being eliminated from CFP with Washington loss

Washington coach Chris Petersen hasn’t been happy with the late scheduling of his team’s games. Well, there’s a chance you were sleeping while his Huskies effectively ended the Pac-12’s hopes of making the College Football Playoff.

On Friday night, No. 9 Washington was upset by Stanford 30-22, giving the Huskies a second loss like every other Pac-12 team.

In fact, Petersen has even more reason to be upset with the scheduling considering this: You would’ve had to wait until the second quarter to begin watching Washington’s defeat because of a contract the Pac-12 has with … truck racing.

That forced his team’s game to remain on FS2 before it was eventually moved to FS1.

The conference, which Washington State coach Mike Leach recently said was better than the SEC and every other conference, took several shots on Twitter after the loss.
