Troy Fumagalli honored
The Big Ten is stacked with a number of very good tight ends, and that was highlighted by Wisconsin senior Troy Fumagalli being named a second-team preseason All-American by the Associated Press, while Penn State’s Mike Gesicki was thefirst-team selection.
Wisconsin-UCLA series set
The Badgers added another Power 5 team to their future schedule, this one a home-and-home series against UCLA. One game will be played at the Rose Bowl in 2029 and the return game will come in 2030 at Camp Randall Stadium.
Wisconsin closes tour with a win
Freshman Brad Davison scored a team-high 23 points to lead Wisconsin past the Sydney Kings 83-71 early Tuesday morning in Australia. The victory helped the Badgers finish their overseas tour 4-1.
