Trent Ingalls, a 3-star recruit from Menasha, Wis., is no longer committed to Wisconsin.
As reported by Benjamin Worgull of Scout.com, Ingalls has de-committed and is unlikely to play somewhere else in college.
Ingalls, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound safety, was part of the 2018 Badgers recruiting class. 247 Sports’ composite rankings had Ingalls ranked No. 6 out of Wisconsin in his class. Nationally, the defensive back is rated No. 73 as a safety.
The safety had committed to the Badgers last October. At the time, Ingalls had interest from Central Michigan, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern and Purdue.
Ingalls’ de-commitment leaves the Badgers with 18 commits for 2018. Before Ingalls left the commitment class, Wisconsin ranked No. 28 in the country for 247 Sports.
