At the end of practice on Thursday, USC head coach Clay Helton addressed reporters and answered some questions about some important players returning from injury.
The most important news: Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and offensive tackle Toa Lobendahn returned to practice and are expected to play Saturday. TE Tyler Petite is also expected to play after missing last game with a shoulder injury.
Additionally, Helton said that defensive end Christian Rector, who leads the team with 10 sacks, could return on Saturday as well. He has missed the last three games with broken bone in his hand, but Helton said he did some limited work in practice today and will be a game time decision.
Cornerback Iman Marshall also got in some practice time on Thursday, according to TrojanSport.com’s Adam Maya.
The team will travel to Boulder on Friday in preparation for the 1 p.m. PT kickoff on Saturday afternoon. The Trojans can clinch a share of the Pac-12 South with a win.
