Tennessee has reportedly ‘moved on’ from Jeff Brohm in coaching search

It looks like Jeff Brohm is sticking at Purdue following rampant speculation about the Tennessee head coach vacancy.

Brohm was reported earlier to be in agreement for the Volunteers job, but several other outlets disputed the report. It was later said that Brohm was more likely to stay with the Boilermakers, but that has moved one step further.

There are now multiple reports that Tennessee has moved on from courting Brohm and are now zeroing in on NC State coach Dave Doeren.

These reports were corroborated by a screenshot from Purdue commit Ben Davis, who shows Brohm telling him that the reports of him leaving Purdue are false.

This likely won’t be the last time Purdue has to fend off other programs from hiring Brohm, but it appears Tennessee’s bid has ended.
