Tennessee junior wide receiver Jauan Jennings dislocated his wrist and needed surgery, and, according to a report, he could miss 10-12 weeks and potentially the rest of the regular season.
On Wednesday’s SEC weekly teleconference, Vols coach Butch Jones confirmed that Jennings is out indefinitely, but said there is no timetable for his return.
Jennings sustained the injury during the first half of Tennessee’s season-opening double-overtime win over Georgia Tech on Monday. He missed the entire second half after leaving the game.
In other injury news for the Vols, Jones said that senior defensive lineman Kendal Vickers and senior defensive back Evan Berry are both questionable for this Saturday’s game against Indiana State.
Tennessee’s home opener is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday on SEC Network.
