TCU drops ‘The next test’ hype video ahead of ranked battle with Oklahoma

What may very well prove to be TCU’s toughest test of the season will get underway on Saturday night in Norman, Okla.

As part of an elite Big 12 showdown with College Football Playoff and Big 12 Championship aspirations at stake, the No. 6-ranked Horned Frogs are on the road with the task of beating No. 5 Oklahoma.

With a win, TCU may very well find itself included within the top four of the next playoff rankings release, as well as earning pole position in the Big 12 down the stretch. Against an Oklahoma team that’s elite in its own right, though, such success won’t come easily.

For the Horned Frogs, the Sooners simply present the next opportunity; the next test.

Given what each team brings to the table, the Sooners will present a tall test, indeed.

An Oklahoma offense headlined by Heisman frontrunner Baker Mayfield currently tops the entire nation in yards per game, as the Sooners are churning out upwards of 600 yards each time out. The Horned Frogs have seen a similarly potent offense earlier in the season, in which TCU escaped Stillwater with a 44-31 win over then-No. 6 Oklahoma State.

Now entering a season-defining game, can TCU come up with a comparable performance and improve to 9-1 on the season?

We’ll find out on at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night. TCU’s Week 11 meeting with Oklahoma will be televised nationally on FOX.
