TCU quarterback commit Justin Rogers has been bumped up to a 5-star recruit, per Die Hards’ Matt Jennings.

It’s the Horned Frogs’ first 5-star commit in the modern recruiting era.
It bodes well for the future of TCU football, especially with the uncertainty they’ll have on offense when Kenny Hill leaves. The Frogs are stacked in every other area though, Jalen Reagor and Kenedy Snell will have defenses on their heels for a very long time. There’s no guarantee Rogers starts immediately though, Shawn Robinson acquitted himself quite well in his lone start on the road against Texas Tech.
Either way, the future of TCU is set, whether it’s Robinson or Rogers. One of the two is going to break out and have a pretty solid career for Gary Patterson and the Frogs.
