Stanford defensive tackle Harrison Phillips is about to cap a successful week at the Senior Bowl.
Phillips, who led FBS defensive linemen with 103 tackles in his senior year with the Cardinal, is drawing interest from the Detroit Lions other teams at the Senior Bowl.
The Detroit Free Press said that he’d be a good fit with the Lions.
“I can play pretty much over anybody,” Phillips said, per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “Not necessarily (as) an edge rusher, but I can play three (technique), one, shade, head-up tackle. I feel confident in all those areas.”
Phillips is considered by many as a first of second found pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. His Senior Bowl practices have only helped his draft stock.
The Stanford product will play in the Senior Bowl game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
