Sports Illustrated has picked Oklahoma State to rebound against Iowa State in a massive way this weekend.
Playing in Ames definitely isn’t easy, especially this year against a strong Cyclones team. Oklahoma State is going to have to be on their toes and play much better defense than they did last week against Oklahoma. The Cowboys gave up 62 points to the Sooners, which is simply just too many. Yes, Oklahoma’s offense is fantastic, but you can’t give up that many points and expect to win.
A win here could get the Cowboys back on track for a Big 12 title run. They’ll need some things to happen to get a shot at the conference championship, but they can’t control that. What they can control is their own play, which will have to be better on defense if they want to win the Big 12.
