South Carolina recruiting: Kurt Roper goes in-home with Dakereon Joyner

South Carolina recruiting-Dakereon Joyner

On Tuesday, South Carolina co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper visited with 4-star quarterback commitment Dakereon Joyner.

Roper stopped by Fort Dorchester High School (North Charleston, S.C.) on Tuesday morning. He went by Joyner’s house that night.

Joyner, who’s the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2018, suffered an AC sprain in his non-throwing (left) shoulder on Friday night against Dutch Fork. Despite the injury, he expects to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas next week.

Roper, who was linked to the head coach post at Rice, continues to fulfill his duties as a coach at South Carolina.
