The South Carolina Gamecocks have added a new partner that they hope will grow and improve the tailgate experience at the school’s Gamecock Park location.
South Carolina has partnered with Tailgate Group, which will provide tailgating setup and services at Gamecock Park for the final three home games on the Gamecocks 2017 schedule. The partnership extends into future college football seasons in Columbia as well.
“We are excited to partner with The University of South Carolina and bring a turnkey experience to the tailgaters at Gamecock Park,” the company says in a release on its website, CarolinaTailgate.com. “South Carolina fans who wish to avoid the hassle of the game day setup, now have the option to enjoy superior customized tailgating services at Gamecock Park.”
The agreement with South Carolina marks Tailgate Group’s first exclusive with an SEC school.
According to Tailgate group, this new service is “exclusive to Gamecock Club members that have season-long parking in Gamecock Park.”
South Carolina fans will be able to choose from two different tailgating packages, outlined here, that will be set up for them when they arrive to Gamecock Park on gameday Saturdays in Columbia.
Tailgate group also partners with Capital City Catering, Bojangles, and Docs BBQ to provide food for the packages that include catering.
“Our goal is to enhance and honor the existing South Carolina tailgating traditions of all its patrons,” Tailgate Group says. “We pledge to provide fans with top of the line equipment, second to none customer communication, and a turnkey game day experience. Your only job is to show up and enjoy Carolina football Saturdays.”
Tailgate Group will make its official 2017 debut in Columbia at the Florida at South Carolina game on Nov. 11 and will return the following two Saturdays for Wofford at South Carolina on Nov. 18 and Clemson at South Carolina on Nov. 25.
