Robert Phinisee commits to Indiana: Hoosiers add 4-star PG to 2018 class

Robert Phinisee made one of the more important decisions of his life on Saturday when the 4-star point guard in the Class of 2018 chose to join the Indiana Hoosiers.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Phinisee is the No. 100-ranked overall player, No. 17 point guard and the No. 4 player in the state of Indiana. The 5-foot-11 play-making guard has scholarship offers from Ohio State and Purdue, among others.

With Phinisee’s verbal commitment, the Hoosiers now have three players making up its 2018 class, as he joins fellow 4-star recruits Jerome Hunter and Damezi Anderson.

Indiana had the No. 6-ranked Big Ten class prior to Phinisee’s commitment, which ranked No. 13 nationally.
