Taylor Swift is heading to Atlanta.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the pop star will be playing a halftime concert in Centennial Olympic Park during halftime of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game. The game will be played at the newly-opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Jan. 8, 2018.
Swift’s new singles off her upcoming album Reputation have recently been featured in ESPN promos for the Week 1 Alabama-Florida State matchup. Now, she may be tied in with the Crimson Tide again, should they hold on to their No. 1 spot throughout the season.
Swift can’t play at the Super Bowl because she has an endorsement deal with Coke and that game is sponsored by Pepsi. That may have worked in college football’s favor in being able to land the superstar for this halftime concert.
