Former Georgia wide receiver Malcom Mitchell’s knee issues have gotten the best of him again.
The Patriots placed the former Bulldog on injured reserve Thursday according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com

Mitchell was a four-year letterman in Athens and a consistent contributor as well. He totaled at least 200 yards receiving and three touchdowns in each of his four seasons with the Bulldogs. He finished his career with 2,350 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Last season with the Patriots, Mitchell recorded 32 catches for 432 yards and four touchdowns.
