Arden Key has been playing through the pain, but now it’s time to get things fixed for the star defender.
According to a report from Andrew Lopez of NOLA.com, Key will undergo surgery on Monday to repair a broken right pinky finger. He reportedly has played with the injury since mid-October.
While LSU coach Ed Orgeron has yet to comment on this situation, Lopez believes that the surgery is not season-ending and that Key could be available to play in the Tigers’ upcoming bowl game.
This is a breaking news story that will be updated.
