Barney Farrar is a central figure in Ole Miss’ on-going NCAA investigation. And if you wanted to ask Hugh Freeze anything about the former associate athletic director, you may not get much of an answer.
Freeze was asked for a comment about Farrar in a Washington Post story. Per Will Hobson, when a reporter asked Freeze about Farrar at his home last week, Freeze declined comment and threatened to have the reporter arrested. For the story on Farrar, Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork was also asked for comment and he declined to speak as well.
Farrar was fired in December and in the Ole Miss’ response to the NCAA’s Notice of Allegations, Ole Miss said that Farrar acted alone as a rule breaker.
The Rebels begin their 2017 season under interim coach Matt Luke on Sept. 2 against South Alabama.
