As the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars, expectations are sky high for former LSU star Leonard Fournette. Unfortunately, it appears Fournette has already suffered a setback in regards to his health. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Fournette has suffered a foot injury while in camp:
Jaguars rookie RB Leonard Fournette suffered a foot injury and HC Doug Marrone said team intends to be "careful with him."

At this time the injury does not appear to be serious, but the Jaguars are wise to be cautious with what is arguably their most valuable asset. Unsurprisingly, a healthy Fournette is in line to not just start for Jacksonville, but carry a heavy load for Doug Marrone’s offense. One must hope that this latest injury is as minor as it appears so that Fournette can attempt to live up to those inflated expectations.
