Recruits react to Jimbo Fisher’s departure to take Texas A&M coaching vacancy

Florida State Seminoles-Florida State football-Jimbo Fisher

Florida State has a coaching vacancy for the first time since 1976 after Jimbo Fisher announced he was leaving the Seminoles program to take over the post at Texas A&M on Thursday.

The move comes less than 48 hours after the Seminoles lost 3 commitments from their 2018 recruiting class.

How are those in the recruiting community reacting to the news?

Keep it locked right here as Florida State DieHards shares the latest commentary from Seminoles commits and targets as they share their thoughts on Fisher’s departure.

This post will be updated as more reaction comes in.

First up, 3-star Southwest Brevard County [Fla.] Rockledge receiver and current Florida State commit Antoine Green summed up his thoughts in emoji form. Like most recruits and people associated with the Seminoles program, I’m guessing Green is wondering what is coming next.
