According to the recruiting site 247sports.com, Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the country, has scheduled an official visit with UCLA. St. Brown, a senior at Mater Dei High School in Santa, Ana, California, has already visited Notre Dame and Michigan and may visit Stanford, where his brother Osiris plays, and USC.

247sports.com on Brown’s interest in the Bruins:
Even though UCLA has struggled mightily this season, St. Brown said he maintains high interest in the Bruins since there would be an opportunity for immediate playing time.
“I love UCLA and I talk to those coaches all the time,” St. Brown said. “We had a 20-minute conversation last week and I was able to chat with the receivers coach ( Jimmie Dougherty ), the offensive coordinator ( Jedd Fisch ) and coach (Jim) Mora, and they’ve really been expressing how much they want me and how I can make an impact in their offense early on with a few of their receivers being seniors.
“ Dorian Thompson-Robinson and I have talked a few times and he tells me how much he wants me at UCLA.”
The 6-foot-1, 187-pound Brown would be a gem of a recruit for embattled UCLA Coach Jim Mora Jr. who has been having a rough season in every way, including on the recruiting trail where several high-profile prospects have de-committed.
St. Brown, who was timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.2, is the kind of talent who could change the perception around an entire class.
St. Brown, the nation’s No. 8 overall prospect according to the 247Sports rankings, intends to reveal his college choice at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in early January.
