Ray Lewis’s video message to Miami before its huge game against Notre Dame is everything you’d expect

Ray Lewis is one of the most decorated players in Miami football history. Twice named an All-American linebacker while with the Hurricanes, he parlayed that into a successful 17-season career with the Baltimore Ravens that should see him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

While he won’t be at Hard Rock Stadium for the No. 7 Hurricanes’ game against No. 3 Notre Dame on Saturday night (and he has a great reason, too), Lewis will be rooting for his alma mater from afar. He took a moment to send his well wishes to the program, and as you can see, he’s more than a little pumped up for the game.

Who wouldn’t want to run through a brick wall after watching that video?

Lewis has long been known as a great motivator, with his pregame speeches before NFL games known all throughout the league. On Saturday, Hurricanes players can rest assured that one of their all-time great former players is firmly in their corner as they play in the program’s biggest game in years.
