Purdue coach Jeff Brohm reportedly is telling recruits he’s not going to Tennessee

Purdue Boilermakers coach Jeff Brohm

One report says that Jeff Brohm is leaving Purdue for Tennessee, while others are saying he’s not. But what may be most important is what Brohm is reportedly saying himself.

According to Steve Wiltfong of 247sports, Brohm is telling recruits that he isn’t taking the Vols job and staying with the Boilermakers.

Brohm was on a recruiting trip for Purdue on Wednesday, as seen in the below photo tweeted by Cory Trice, a 3-star recruit in the Class of 2018 who is committed to the Boilermakers:

Did Trice and Brohm have a conversation about the Purdue coach’s future, though? Well, according to a conversation that Trice had through direct messages with Justin Swallows of WJZM Radio, he was one of the recruits that Brohm was reportedly telling that he isn’t leaving Purdue.

Here’s a conversation with Trice that Swallows tweeted:

This Tennessee coaching search has been a whirlwind, and things certainly aren’t slowing down now.
