ESPN talking head Paul Finebaum is at it again.
As the nation turns its eyes toward Miami for the Hurricanes’ primetime showdown with Notre Dame Saturday, Finebaum couldn’t pass up an opportunity to take a swipe at Miami fans.
Thursday, the ESPN analyst called Miami fans “the most thin-skinned and delusional” in college football. Finebaum said Hurricanes fans overtook Michigan fans for “that award.”
"I really thought that Michigan fans were the most thin skinned & delusional in #CFB but I was wrong, Miami fans easily win that award. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anything like it" – @finebaum

It’s not clear what precipitated the dig from Finebaum.
Miami has started the season 8-0 and is ranked No. 7 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. A win over the Irish would almost certainly vault the Hurricanes into the top five, if not higher.
