Among the tens of thousands in attendance at Autzen Stadium for Saturday’s Civil War win over Oregon State were several high-profile recruits Oregon has either earned commitments from or hope to do so in the near future.
That included 4-star running back prospect Jashaun Corbin, who has been pledged to Florida State since May but was in Eugene for an official visit.
“It really blew me away,” Corbin said of the visit, per Andrew Nemec of OregonLive.com. “All of the coaches were super cool and down to earth, the facilities were off the chain, the fans and game atmosphere were crazy. The players were super cool, too.”
The 6’0”, 191-pound Corbin is rated by 247Sports as the No. 331 player in the 2018 class and the nation’s 8th-best all-purpose back.
Oregon’s 2018 class includes commitments from two other running backs: 4-star Jamal Elliott from North Carolina and 3-star California prospect Travis Dye, the younger brother of Ducks sophomore linebacker Troy Dye.
