Oklahoma State kept its Big 12 title hopes alive Saturday with a narrow victory over Iowa State, allowing Cowboy fans to breathe a sigh of relief.
Before winning 49-42, the Cowboys trailed 14-0 and 42-34. The Cyclones drove to the red zone, but A.J. Green’s reviewed interception in the end zone saved the Cowboys’ lead. Oklahoma State can still reach the Big 12 Championship game, though it needs some help to get there.
For now, the Cowboys can revel in Saturday’s victory.
A.J. Green just saved #okstate's already slim Big 12 title hopes.

The "only play defense on like the last couple drives" strategy is really not good for my blood pressure. #GoPokes

Big win for us, regardless if we end up in the championship. We needed that. #gopokes
