Ohio State’s Dre’Mont Jones throws up ‘O-H’ after targeting ejection vs. Michigan State

Dre’Mont Jones is the fourth Ohio State player to be ejected for targeting this season. He was tossed from Ohio State’s game against Michigan State on Saturday in the second quarter, and threw up the “O-H” on his way to the locker room at Ohio Stadium.

The Buckeyes probably won’t need him the rest of the way. They were up 35-0 when he was tossed after a late hit to the head of Spartans QB Brian Lewerke, and Michigan State really doesn’t seem to have a shot in this game. The targeting and roughing the passer calls overturned a Damon Arnette interception, but Arnette intercepted Lewerke three plays later, and that stood.

Ohio State’s defense limited Michigan State to 80 yards in the first half of a game that will likely determine the team that represents the Big Ten East in the conference championship game.
