Ohio State dominated Michigan State, 48-3, in a Big Ten East showdown between a pair of top 15 teams. Both the Buckeyes and Spartans were on the edge of the College Football Playoff chase going into the game.
When asked if Ohio State’s rout proved something to the College Football Playoff selection committee, Dobbins had strong words criticizing the group.

“It seems like the committee doesn’t like us this year, so I don’t know,” Dobbins said after the game. “We lose one game and we get bumped all the way back. Clemson’s back in the top four and they lost to Syracuse.”
Clemson was 8-1 overall going into the Week 11 game against Florida State. The Tigers lost to Syracuse, 27-24, but do have wins against currently ranked teams Auburn, Virginia Tech and NC State.
Ohio State is 8-2, losing to CFP ranked teams Oklahoma and Iowa. The Buckeyes also have wins against a pair of ranked teams: Penn State and Michigan State.
Against Michigan State on Saturday, the freshman Dobbins had 18 carries for 124 yards. Fellow running back Mike Weber also had a big day with 9 attempts for 162 yards and 2 scores.
Dobbins went over 1,000 yards on the season with his Saturday performance.
