Earlier Wednesday, 5-star forward Louis King officially inked his National Letter of Intent, becoming a Duck alongside 4-star power forward Miles Norris.
But King used the moment to do a little bit of peer recruiting, nudging undeclared recruits Bol Bol and R.J. Barrett, both consensus top 5 recruits with Oregon among their finalists, to join in on the green and yellow and sign with the Ducks.
MADEHoops’ Pat Lawless picked up on King’s public statement:

Certainly King’s words have some clout. He’s the No. 16-ranked recruit nationally by 247Sports and averaged an impressive 13.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season at Hudson Catholic High School.
Barrett is No. 1 by the same service while Bol is No. 3. Barrett is down to Duke, Kentucky and Oregon. He’s set to announce on Friday afternoon on TSU SportsCentre in Canada.
Bol, meanwhile, is down to Kentucky and Oregon but hasn’t set an official decision date.
