Whoever and wherever Penn State plays this bowl season, it will not have Joe Moorhead running the offense.

Moorhead was hired as head coach at Mississippi State earlier this week, leaving some question as to how long he would stay at Penn State as offensive coordinator. Per Will Sammon of the Clarion Ledger, he won’t be staying long.

It’s a sensible decision from Moorhead, as his clear first priority should be to know his new program inside and out as soon as possible. The Bulldogs have already begun welcoming him to Starkville.
