Scott Frost, Scott Frost, Scott Frost

Hope you’re not tired of hearing about Scott Frost yet, because that’s about all that anyone wants to talk about. Plus, it appears like some news may be heading Nebraska’s way this weekend on the Frost front. Considering Oregon apparently doesn’t see Frost as available, the dominos seem to be falling into place.

Coach of the year

Speaking of Frost, he was unanimously selected as the AAC Coach of the Year on Wednesday. A well deserved honor.

That’s not bad

Where does the Nebraska job rank in the Big Ten? According to The Chicago Tribune, the Huskers land at No. 5 behind Ohio State, Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan. Could be worse.

All-conference honors

The Big Ten unveiled its all-conference honors on offense, and a few Huskers made both the media and coaches lists. Of note, wide receiver Stanley Morgan Jr. earned second-team honors, wide receiver JD Spielman earned third-team, and honorable mentions went to kicker Drew Brown and offensive linemen Jerald Foster and Nick Gates.

A needed win

Nebraska basketball got a much-needed win over Boston College Wednesday night. The Huskers secured a 71-62 victory, with James Palmer Jr. and Isaac Copeland contributing 15 points each.

What a man

There are few people like former Nebraska coach Mike Riley. Need an example? He was at Nebraska basketball’s matchup with Boston College representing the Huskers. What a guy.

Oversleep and miss a recent Big Red Rising? No worries. We have all our past editions here.
