As Nebraska football trailed Minnesota by three touchdowns on Saturday, fans on Twitter started expressing their disappointment in the Huskers’ coach.
Mike Riley’s job security has been a hot topic this season, something only heightened by Nebraska’s firing of athletic director Shawn Eichorst. Bill Moos, Eichorst’s replacement, said this week he has not made a decision on Riley’s future. This all comes as former Nebraska QB Scott Frost is the nation’s top coaching candidate for his revitalization of UCF.
Nebraska fans: They are displeased
Former Nebraska QB Tommie Frazier also had words for the program online.

Riley is in is third season at Nebraska after coming over from Oregon State. Riley’s team is 4-5, and will be 4-6 when this game concludes. While some team dads have been vocal in their support of him, the larger fanbase seems to have had it with the coach. Ad in the decommitment of Brendan Radley-Hiles, Nebraska’s top recruit, and things aren’t looking great for Riley.
