Scott Frost update

As expected, there’s plenty of updates on current UCF coach Scott Frost and his potential future with Nebraska. First and foremost, Frost quickly avoided a question about his future with the Knights on Monday, which was later followed by a comment that he would be hurt if Nebraska wasn’t interested.

What would ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit think of Frost coming home? Sounds like Herbstreit is a fan of the idea.

Patience required

As current Huskers start to question their futures, former Huskers have been clear that patience is the key in the interim.

Even athletic director Bill Moos has chimed in, and he has encouraged players not to make any hasty decisions.

Staying committed

Garrett Snodgrass committed to Nebraska on Friday. One day later, the coach he committed to was fired. That could mean Snodgrass would rethink his decision, but the 2019 athlete said he is firmly committed to Nebraska at this point.

Impressed elsewhere

As for Nebraska commit Cameron Jurgens, he’s still committed to Nebraska. However, he just took a visit to LSU and it sounds like he walked away more than impressed.

All-Freshman Football Team

A couple of Huskers freshman players were named to BTN.com’s 2017 All-Freshman Football Team. Despite a rocky season overall, both wide receiver JD Spielman and defensive end Ben Stille were bright spots for Nebraska.
