Nebraska football is the No. 1 topic in Big Red Rising every day — but we cover news, notes and analysis from across Huskers sports. Join us each morning to get caught up on everything you missed in the world of Huskers football, recruiting, basketball and more.

No decision yet

Nebraska athletic director Bill Moos joined Mike’l Severe of The Bottom Line on Tuesday. One major point of discussion? He hasn’t made any decision on coach Mike Riley’s future as of yet.

What did he say?

Current Nebraska defensive coordinator Bob Diaco had some choice words about the Huskers former approach to tackling. As one might assume, former Nebraska defensive coordinator Mark Banker wasn’t too keen on Diaco’s criticism and fired back.

Official visit recaps

How did the recruits at Nebraska last Saturday feel about their visits? Land of 10’s Chris Bumbaca rounded up all the reactions, and the overall opinion appeared to be positive.

Another Gold Glove

Former Huskers player Alex Gordon won his 5th Gold Glove award for the Kansas City Royals, which is awesome to see.

Tale of the tape

Hail Varsity’s Jacob Padilla broke down Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee’s performance against Northwestern, and it was full of struggles.

Pro Big Red

Miami added another Huskers player to the roster. Former offensive lineman Zach Sterup was signed by the Dolphins and added to the active roster.

Anything you can do …

I can do better? For Tyjon Lindsey and Stanley Morgan Jr., that might not be the case.
