Mississippi State was dealt a tough blow on Sunday when it came out that offensive line signee Montravious Richardson will be heading to a community college.
Per Will Sammon of the Clarion-Ledger, Richardson will head to Mississippi Delta. Richardson was a 3-star recruit from Albany, Ga.

With Richardson headed off to Mississippi Delta that leaves just three of Mississippi State’s five offensive line signees from the 2017 class will be on the 2017 team. Offensive guard prospect Josh Cooper also went the JUCO.
Mississippi State opens the 2017 season at home against Charleston Southern on Sept. 2. The Bulldogs went 6-7 last year and will be led by quarterback Nick Fitzgerald this season.
